PlumCrazy's Build

I got my tires (well 3 of them, I had to order one). I mounted the 3 I had and bolted them up.

I pretty happy with the way it looks. I have been crossing my fingers since I lifted it that it would at least sit level when I put 4 of the same size tires on it. I had no idea how much lift the Chevy springs and shackles would give me. The truck leans foward w little, which I am really pleased with. I would rather have it lean foward then sit level, so it wont lean back with a little load or trailer on it.

Dude it looks totally! SICK! Can't wait to see some "run" pics/videos. Love the fab work on the switch panel too!

Keep It up!!

I swapped my amber corners for the clear ones on my other Ranger.

I took off the mudflaps and made new braces for the bed.

I finished my rear bumper and added some back up lights.

Then I went to put gas in the beast and I discovered that the filler neck is craked right where it claps to the tank:annoyed:

looks great man i want to do this to my truck so bad

I got my 4th tire today and a I got my filler neck, but now I am off to college 2 hrs away:annoyed: so I wont be home until friday.

I finally got my last tire on, put on the new filler neck, and got the beast aligned. I have a couple pics of it with my Gen III Ranger fleet

I the only issue I have found so far is the tires rub the radius arms a tiny bit. I think the t-case is on its last leg. It needs new shifter bushings as well. But over all I am happy with the turn out. I dont have too much invested in the truck so I am willing to spend a little bit more to get everything buttoned up.

very nice fab skills! my hat is off to you. you think like i do, its good to see a guy 2 years younger then me that knos hit stuff

very nice, same exact color as my 93 splash. One question, what the hell is that thing that says "pull" right below the 4wd switch? i just bought a 96 reg cab 4.0 5 spd 4wd and it doesnt have that.

Awesome build. That "pull" thing is the cigarette light plug.

Yeppers

I stole a illuminated cig lighter out of a Windstar, it lights up the same color as my dash lights

Ahh, i got to thinking about it and was like, that was probably the cig lighter, but then i was like, that doesnt look like a cig lighter lol. I'm just not that used to the newer style interior. Had an 01 but i guess i never really paid that much attention when i had it heh.

I think i saw you driving that truck over the weekend, not too far from Slate Run.

On what road? I live not to far from there and I was home this weekend. During the week I am 2 hours north in Wooster. What were you driving?

I dont remember the exact road, i wanna say it was a little ways from the Brice road development housing place, I was up there visiting Jspafford and his family. I was with the wife in a white dodge caliber heh. We were headed towards slate run, and if it was you, you were coming from there and you turned left at a light. if it wasnt you, someone else has a truck pretty identical to yours lol.
