PlumCrazy's Build

That was probably me. I live just outside of Canal and my GF lives not to far from slate run. I asked what you drove because i was behind a Gen III Ranger that was sitting on 33's and it was yellow over the weekend.

Ahh, nope no yellow rangers for me, I've got a Blue Splash on 33s and a stock Purple one,(hoping to change that once i get a job)

I have a stock purple Ranger too. lol.

how did you make the 1.5" hole that the radius arm bushing goes through???

I have a unibit but it only goes up to 1" and the larger bit would cost me $60.

I used a 1 1/2 inch holesaw and a lot of cutting oil. I kept the RPM's low and it cut like butter.

dude i think you should paint your flares and from the bottom body line down black. i think it would look sick as hell

So when are you going to take this offroad and get it dirty finally?

I played around in the back yard a little. I need to get some softer 6 inch coils to replace the 4inch w/ spacers I am running now.

There little to no frame flex, you see the body lines stay lined up. Im pretty happy with the way the Chevy springs flex and still handle well on the road. I left the overloads in the pack too.

Nice work! Very impressive! If the paint were not so good, I'd say shoot it with some flat black.

When the body goes south I plan to paint it flat olive green with black flares and trim.:icon_thumby:

I played around a little bit with an old Ford emblem I had. I was lucky enough to get it apart in one piece the on the first try. I used a heat gun the soften up the glue.

I sanded it with 180 grit to get the color off, then I polished it up with 400 grit.

I picked up a steering stabilizer. I was too cheap to buy the brackets, so I made my own and U bolts cost too much, so I used the straps that used to hold the ujoint in.lol
