PlumCrazy's 88 SuperCab Build

I don't recommend using the brown top injectors. They are low impedance and are known for leaking with age. Racetronix is where I buy mine.
I've been on the fence with what to do with injectors. I see two of these injectors have different o-rings and tips on them making me think someone has been through this before. I will likely end up putting a fresh set of injectors in this setup eventually.

Dumb note just to be sure, not saying you weren't paying attention... I've ran into the oil pan situation and trying to remember what I did at roughly 10 years ago... I know in '86 the change to a one piece rear main was done which also changed between a one piece and 4 piece oil pan gasket, the one piece had a trough in the rear main cap for the gasket where the newer style was in the oil pan, I thought that lined up with the 6mm vs 8mm oil pan bolts in the back but thinking more I think I had to drill the replacement pan when I switched from a '85 block to an '86 block (uncle Rodney came to visit... he's a jerk).

I'm running brown top but mine's 100% stock computer and everything, I don't doubt they leak, I know my turbo shaft seal is shot and there's runability issues sometimes but hey... I'll get there eventually... if I change to aftermarket fuel system I would go high impedance injectors, they've come a long way in 40 years...

I filled the groove in the rear main cap to seal against the once piece gasket and swapped the front cover to the new style. I just over looked the block had large bolts in the rear still.

The more I think about it, the more I think I should probably toss new injectors in....I maybe I'll at least start with these because I'm a cheap ass.

Perfect, I ran that way for years...

It's probably easy enough to change injectors later... I think I got my injectors from a member a bunch of years ago...
