word. Ill find that thread. I cant seem to figure out the instructions you posted earlier. I masked it. then erased everything i didnt want painted. Then i clicked the adjustment layer and hue saturation button but whenever i set a color and turn the background back on the bg has funny colors. Why is this? Oh, and i learned the hard way too about saving the original. I always work with a copy.![]()
The front grille, lights and emblem are black and white...
Shaun, that's a pretty wild ride you got there. Got any more photos or details on it somewhere here in the forum? Can you post pics and details in the pre-runner forum?
1. Use the selection tool (looks like a upside down coat hanger) to make a rough selection.
2-A. Press Crtl+C = Copy
2-B. Press Ctrl+v = Paste OR
2-C. Press Ctrl+J = Copy to a new layer
3. Erase the unwanted areas
4. Press and hold Ctrl while you click on the layer with just the body, this makes a selection of that layers edges.
5. With selection still active open an Adjustment layer or just make a new layer and fill the selection with the color of choice and tweak the blend modes.
Hope that helps, easier to do for the most part than it is to describe.
