Oil thread, I know it's a dead horse

so some people would say that 107,000 miles is too high to switch to synthetic or that it doesn't matter. I have always debated using synthetic but didn't want to switch and have to stick with it cause its a little more money, never had any troubles with conventional but my pickup doesn't leak i just don't want to mess with it....

Update. No oil changed my mileage enough to matter. All the oils I have tried returned about the same UOA's. Not a one slowed oil consumption of 1/2 qt per 4K miles. I now just use 3.5 qts of SureGaurd (read SuperS, Amilee, PartsMaster) and 1/2 qt lucas every 3 K and don't have to top it off. I got about 32 mpg in winter, about 34 during this summer.
