Woo Hoo - if I only had a $1.00 for each of those I could finish this project . . .

Starting to slow down now - funds main reason.
 
I didn't go into any kind of debt for any of my projects. If I didn't have the money I didn't do it, I saved and bought what I could when i had the money.

looks good, i used the same color blue on my 2.9
 
Yeah - trying to avoid the debt issue - no need as the truck is running solid with the 4.0 now. Still a long way to go and a lot to do before the swap starts.

Thanks Eddie . . . I like the look of the old school blue more than the new corporate blue which is darker.

UPDATE!!!

Just back from the machine shop!!!

1969 302 Cylinder Heads with 58cc wedge shaped combustion chambers.

Brand new Lunati Springs, Caps, and Keepers.

New Manley Valves and Stainless Steel Expansion Cups - not Brass.

3 Angle Valve Job, a light milling on the sealing surface and one new valve guide.

Some more lovin on the SBF!

Got the bolts for the front cover and water pump finally so on the cover went and then the oil pan using button head allen bolts - looks awesome!

Thats because nobody sees engines that use to actually get looked at anymore.

hahaha - call me Gargamel - I caught a few and ground them up, added some thinner and shot them on the engine!!!

Yeah todays engines cannot be seen LOL . . . not only will this one be functional it will be a piece of art in the engine bay!

Waaaaaaaaaaaaahahhahahhaaaaa....that's why I went with good old Universal Gloss Black--with a few chrome accessories ;missingteeth;
 
Here is the latest - top end buttoned up and trying some accessories. Still a lot to do before even considering the swap, but she is looking so sweet!
