My credo
"I'm just a simple man trying to make my way in the universe."
Any good locations in the northeast? I can’t seem to sift out all the snowmobile/atv only off-road adventures from my research.
Located in Connecticut but happy to take a weekend adventure to anywhere around the NE.

Particularly looking for something easy and scenic.

Thanks in advance.

I would try a Google search for Four wheel drive clubs in your area.

I went to jericho mt state park in Berlin NH back in fall and had a hell of a good time. If you wanna drive up that far I'm game to go whenever you are.

I'm relatively sure Pennsylvania has a few off road parks..

Sounds good to me. Will let you know. Located in New Haven but often head up that way towards Hanover monthly or so.

There are a few in the Poconos area:
try this link too:

There's a handful of parks and open places to wheel but there's a hundred times more power line roads and stuff that's wheeled on a "don't ask don't tell" basis. Nobody with a brain will talk about the specific locations of these trails online because then idiots find them and then they get shut down.

Berlin is a long ways from Hanover. By the way, it's pronounced BER-lin. Ber-LIN is in Germany.

YouTube searches for "Jeep trails in xx" has always resulted in good finds for me. Although I think we should ban the name Jeep trails and call in OnRV trails or something other than JEEP …. :) Just my opinion. But they generally give good information on trail location, length and difficulty.

I dont know what's up towards CT other than field and forest and it's a buggy park. getting linked up with a club from NEA4WD will get you what you want. Don't wheel powerline roads and get legit places closed
