OEM Parts Prices??

Have a line on valve covers, $20, good price? He also has a fan and an oil dipstick tube. What would be a fair price for the fan and tube? Thanks for your help!!

NOS or used? year?

NOS 20 bucks sounds pretty ok to me, however with that said I can drive up the road 15 mins to the pick-a-part and grab that same stuff for about 10 for the works

Used, My favorite pic'n'pull doesn't have a 4.0 out of a vehical right now and don't feel like taking a vehical apart. What do you think is a good price for the fan and tube? BTW I've been a customer at my favorite yard for 25 yrs. I even have a prefered customer card, 6 pack of frosties, LOL.

I really can't tell you what to expect for prices. I supose it comes down to wht you and them think is fair. I also can't say how availible parts are where you live for maybe all different locations/areas have different used/parted out trucks. I am speaking of where i live and the p&P usualy have 15 4.0L motors in the yard so getting parts isn't hard. sorry i can't be more help

Thanks Angie. I think I'll tell my son to offer 20-30 for the fan maybe 5 for dipstick tube if the guy doesn't set price first. Son's tube rusted off and fan looks pretty rough ( cracks/nicks). Local PnP isn't doing much lately, SE Michigan econemy totally $uck$. Junkyard had to lay one guy off, scrap prices down.
