ah SHIT!
hey guys a few of my friends and i are going to go hit up prairie city or if prairie is no good, we are going to go into the hills, mellow group of guys i think my rig will be the gnarliest on 33s but all are welcome. let me know if you are interested.

Two things.
1. Prairie city is kinda lame and overcrowded.
2. It's going to be in the 90s on Sunday, 90s, no AC, and no shade makes for one hot/miserable day.

If you wanna run to the hills for the day I'm down, I'll come be your tailgunner.
:D

I would suggest Signal Peak, but you said in the other thread a couple guys are 2WD, it might be a little tough for them, it gets pretty steep towards the summit.

HMMM.
I might be in Elverta on Sunday. Was planning on visiting my brothers nephew. But i could get there earlier and just leave him there and meet up. see if i can keep up with you guys.
"If" you went up to signal peak, what time would be a good time to meet up and caravan?

8:30 or 9 means you'd be at the summit by noon or 1pm at the very latest.

2wd would have a real hard time up in the two technical sections. Even with a rear locker 2wd probably wouldn't make it. I've seen 4wd (open open) spend way too much time being stuck in the two technical sections, so a locked 2wd would have at least that much trouble and probably even more. A tow strap would fix that problem up real nice though :icon_thumby:

The trail is very brushy and so if you have a nice paint job, forget about keeping it that way.

And sometimes there is so much snow at the top you can't get to the peak, can anybody confirm or deny this for this season? I've been up there in July and the peak was still snow capped and impassible.

i think im down. im on 33's will that work? i made it to the first river crossing at foredyce so i think im good to go.

signal peak has snow on it still, just called my friend and asked him lol. ummmmmmm yeah prairie city will be retardedly hot probably... ummmmmmmmmmm eagle peaks has water crossings too deep for me, bowman is still snowed in, most all my spots are still snowed in...

oh and b2 rich im in elverta now hahaha real close, anyone know of any other spots? rattle snake isnt worth the drive, and ice house is mostly shut down except for the rubicon...

foredyce is clear to the first river crossing. a decent day trip if your still ifs like me

I'd like to do the first part of Fordyce.

I might be up there on a quad, with my truck parked at the Fordyce/Signal peak trail head. If anybody see's my truck, and me feel free to stop in and say high. I'm Evan. Who knows if I will actually be wheeling my truck or not...I don't have my sliders on so I'm not very inclined to brave the rocks. Still need to :icon_welder::icon_welder::icon_welder: on them a bit before I can put them back on.

im game for a fordyce run! i dont have sliders either, but if i cant make it ill turn around. im not sure if everyone else is down, but im for sure game to go play in the hills. what time are you thinking for meeting up?

if it happens probebly like nine wheel roast some weinies wheel out. my rocker panals are my sliders. lol
