What's up every one? I'm Jared, just bought a '93 Ranger XLT 4x4. It's my first Ford truck, and I'm digging it a lot. I live up in Woodland by Sacramento, just moved to the Area from Texas. Looking for places to wheel, and to meet some good people! I bought the truck about 2 weeks ago, and this site has already given me so much info.

Off road shake down stock

Shakedown went well! I was very impressed by the stock suspension with bald P rated tires. I kept up with a lifted full size Dodge all day. Mostly mud bogging.

Stock tires were scary bald, a guy offered me these wheels with bald 33x12.50's for $150...I couldn't say no! Yes I am stock suspension, yes they rubbed...a little.

So I broke out the sawzall! I think it turned out pretty good for freehand. Still rubs a little at the back on the flare.

It's just temporary, I am trying to find a body lift and front springs. I'm broke, naturally, so I have to wait for deals to pop up. But it only rubs slightly on hard turns, and no rub at full lock!

Looks nice truck man, how many miles her? Got mine a couple of weeks now and taken off road yet.

Just shy of 120,000 original miles, runs great!


Take it off road, these things are a blast!
