Non bolt in seats

I was wondering how hard it is to take a seat that does not bolt right in and make it bolt in. My brother had a Jeep Grand Cherokee and the thing had some of the most comfortable seats in it. I was wanting to find a set at the salvage yard for my truck but am not sure how i would put them in. Would i just need to swap my seat rails onto it somehow or would i be better off with bolt in seats?

me and my dad made Honda Passport seats work in mine.....took the old mounts off my ranger seats....took the old ones off the honda seats....got everything centered up and welded the ranger brackets to the passport seats

Yup Yup ^ you just gotta somehow mount your seat brackets on those seats.
