I have a 93' Ford Ranger Supercab. Out of the blue, I have no taillights?
I have headlights and parking lights, I also have brakelights and backup lights, but no taillights? I checked the fuses and everything is fine there. I checked the wiring at the back of the truck, and no broken wires etc.
I'm kind of stumped as to what this could be.
Any insight on this would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Do you have dashlights? Sometimes when the dashlights are out then you have no tailights. If you have checked all the fuses and they are fine then go to the back with a testlight and work from there. Make sure your grounds are clean. Check the connectors at the lights as well as the plug in at the frame to the bed. If youo have an inline "T" connector for trailer wiring take it out and plug the two factory connections back together see if that fixes it. If none of that fixes it replace the headlight switch.

its most likeley going to be your headlight switch, the older these trucks get the more they like togo, first check for voltage back in the socket and on the harness like previously stated, if u have no power then it is your switch

Thanks Brett S. & mhughes165,
I work 3rd shift, so can't check tonight. I'll be driving my sister's extra car, (don't want to draw unwanted attention from the police), but I will check this out tomorrow, after I get home from work.
Appreciate the info.
