New Wheels and Tires!!!

got a great deal on some 285/75/16's (33's) just had to find me a set of 16's to put them on...

found a local scrap yard that had the wheels i was searching for.
99 explorer/ranger wheels.

probably going to have to crank my T-Bars and block the rear just a bit. I get minor running full lock to lock, and if im gonna crank the front then i gotta do the same to the back...

but i absolutely LOVE IT, looks so much better!
 
If I am not mistaken Tbars (torsion bars) are only on 98+newer Rangers.
Maybe just cut the fenders and be done with it.

I was going to say the same thing. I would say either block the rear or just do something cheap and simple like a body lift to clear those tires.
 
Did you trade your doors for the wheels?

It's TTB, it does not have torsion bars.

You should be able to run a 1" to 2" spacer under the coil spring and it still be alignable. I run a 1" spacer under mine.

Please note, any change in ride height on TTB, no matter how miner, will REQUIRE an alignment.

Also, does it have the high-rider package?

im not rubbing on the fenders, its just barely touching the sway bar where it bolts to the frame.

yeah i plan on blocking the rear and spacing the front....

haha no, the truck has no AC so i ripped the doors off. they go back on in less than 5 mins...

im in the process of buying a house and have alot of other things i want/need to do on my plate... big costly items are going to have to wait...

I am a little embarrassed to admit it, but I just used a wheel bearings and races that I laid under the spring perch. The stud was long enough to get the nut on with the spacer under the perch.

I do not know what they are from, I just browsed the bearing isle at my local Advance until I found bearings and races that where the correct size. I think it was less than $10.00 for the pair.

The bearing/race assembly is laying on it's side between the axle beam and lower spring retainer/perch.
