yeah, i only got half of your post when i was viewing on tapatalk also... reading the whole thing makes more sense now...
Ive been a member since 07, and have roughly 900 posts......
Does this mean im a noob?
I didnt hit 1000 in a year, guess im substanderd? (spelling)
Edit: i have had to reregister at least twice because of fourm changes. I have no idea when i really first joined TRS, it was a looooong time ago, i know that.
no... you're good shit, you've posted enough posts that i've read, to make me know that you're not a retard
Who cares about post count? I just get annoyed when anyone posts "how do I swap a disk brake explorer axle in my truck?" If someone with 1,000,000,000 posts asked that I'd still call them out. Conveniently tapatalk doesn't give me avatars, locations, or post count, they all remind me of leveling up a character on WOW.

i know where you're coming from, but when someone is posting something that seems dumb, and you're not quite sure where the guy's coming from, post count and join date help you figure it out... do i care that i have 7000 some odd posts, and scooter has less than 1000? no, because i know scooter is a semi intelligent guy, with at least half of a functioning brain... same goes for you to be honest...
when does join date matter? when i see a post from someone who has been a member of the forum for say 1.5 years, has a sig, an avatar, and his vehicle info filled out, and a few posts, i can assume that he has been active on the forum, even if not posting, knows where to find info, if it's here, and maybe that post i read was worded poorly, but was an intelligent question, i'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt... contrary to that, same post, joined this month, 40 posts, chances are he's asking how to swap an auto trans out of an explorer he's thinking about buying, into his manual ranger, and posting this in the urgent help needed section, the explorer section, and the tranny section... a little different story... i can tell by one of those threads, post count and join date, that the other 2 threads are going to be here somewhere...
sometimes searching the forum for your answer isn't the easiest way to find the answer without posting a new thread on it... i find post count and join date a very quick way to know where someone is coming from
and for the record, i don't really care who's got the most posts, who's got the least posts, and where i am on that list... though it would be kinda cool to have more than anyone else (rsh) i judge a person first by the content of their posts, if i can't determine it from there, then i move on to alternate means
