Hello All,
I just recently purchased a 1993 SCab 4.0, Automatic for my teenage son. It is his first truck and this forum has really helped me in performing maintenance on the truck and getting it safe and dependable for him to drive. I bought the truck 10 days ago and it had 72,000 orginal miles and is extremely clean inside and out. 1 week after this purchase I bought my old 1994 SCab 4 banger Ranger (which I bought brand new in Aug. of 1994) from my Brother In-Law for $100.00 for a parts truck. I sold this truck in March of 2000 when I special ordered the new Dodge Dakoata 4.7 Quad Cab which I still have with 76,000 miles on the truck. "Monty" hit a tree and totaled the Ranger 4-banger.
Anyway, the posts here have been very, very, helpful and I would enjoy sharing knowledge on the Ranger trucks...By the way I have a great story to tell about the a4dl auto tranny and modulator valve which I can post later. If anyone has an immediate question concerning this please reply and I will try to help as quickly as I can
