new mass air truck runs much worse..


Maybe your aftermarket air filter has too much oil on it and it's getting on the MAF, even a slight mist of oil on the sensor can cause problems. I would also take a close look at the MAF wire connector for damage, or opened up wire ends. Also has the MAF wire harness been spliced into ?
 
No oil on it, the wires are fine with no splice
 
Fixed two vacuum leaks, only a slight improvement. How much vacuum pressure should I have? What port should I test with?
 
You guys thing buying a quarterhorse tuner could help me figure this problem out?
