Is the MAF something that needs to be a top brand? I have a new one but still have code 159 maf out of range. Every other sensor is new so there *shouldn’t* be anything confusing the computer. I’m pretty sure I have detonation because it seems to not to match any of the descriptions for rod bearings or piston slap.

I would get motorcraft, but it seems none are available.

Edit: I got the Ultra-Power #917834. Second option on RA.

I guess the answer is to get a motorcraft reman. I sent the ultrapower back and got the reman and it runs much better. I hope it actually was reman’d. The aluminum housing and plastic sensor housing look worse than my original. Has lots of corrosion dust that I cleaned off before installing. The security torx heads holding the sensor on are drilled out, so I guess they replaced the guts. Seems to work fine though.
