Hey everyone,

I recently took home a beautiful 88 Ranger XLT. 85k, one owner, garage kept. I'll be wrenching on it as best I can. I don't have an extensive background in auto work so I think this site is going to become a valuable resource for me.

Welcome to TRS!

Nathan... you can't tell us you brought home a beautiful 1st Gen and not let us see it....

Welcome to TRS...

I'll snap some photos today and post later, along with a shortlist of work I'll be doing. Thanks for the welcome.

Shortlist... a term commonly used by the optimistic Ranger owning individual to describe the never ending hours and dollars spent modifying their new truck to what they envision deep inside the medial temporal lobe.

If these clean early trucks keep popping up... I'm gonna have to road trip and bring one home myself.

Welcome from Georgia.

Or in my case....just getting the damned thing running correctly.

Hey guys. Thanks for the welcome. Here she is. Anybody know the topper size for this things?

Here's the shortlist...much more to come, I'm sure,

New Topper, New Radio, Possible A/C Compressor replacement, Parking Break Cable repair, 2-3 inch lift

Also, any idea what this is coming off the transfer case?

Nathan

Vent hose

That thing sure looks clean Nathan

Looks super clean.

Get an upholstery cleaner and I bet those seats would look brand new.
