Hello,
I'm the proud new owner of a 1995 Ranger Splash, 4 cylinder V6 4x4.
It's in pretty good shape for its age, but being a 20+ year old vehicle, I'm sure that it'll need some tweaking here and there.
I hope to get a lot of information and advice from this group. Pics to come.

Malcolm

Did the previous owner tell you it was a "4 cylinder V6"?

Welcome to TRS~!

It should serve you well...even though the "Big Smoke" (AKA Toronto) doesn't get much snow the 4x4 might come in handy a few times in the coming year.

The single cab is the only thing I'm not crazy about but it isn't my truck so enjoy it for what it is...a nice, reliable small truck with a huge following of faithful owners and past owners...:icon_thumby:

Hi there!

did not realize that the earlier Splash trucks did not get the wide 15x7" wheels,

the recent cold snap & snow dump we got here might beg to differ, the rear ABS has been working overtime.......lol:beer:

Haha...well, I should say "usually" because I was there in 1999 (thought it was 2006 for some reason) when Mayor Mel Lastman called in the Army to dig out the city...

I'm actually looking to get larger tires, but without replacing the rims. Any suggestions?

I take it that you have the *oval* ported alloy wheels? look similar to a pinwheel, those are 15x7 if memory serves.....also, are the tires not the optional 235/60/15 that were mounted to the Splash models.....

nice looking 95 ranger splash but im pretty sure you meant to say 4.0 v6 instead

im pretty sure your 95 splash has 15in rims so you could get 32 - 11.50 r15 tires and there shouldn,t be any rubbing if there is it will not damage or hurt anything :)
