Hey guys! Me and a friend just lost our ford f250 that was supercharged and caged to a fire. We are now going to be building a new Rally truck a 1985 Ford Ranger 302, 5.0 that we are planning on racing at rally new york and black river stages And others.

I am on a few other forums for my car (05 Evo 8) and I know forums are a source of way more info then google can supply.

We are planning on building the truck over the next year and getting it to rally spec and working out off the weak points in the truck.

By the way My name is Tim and I live in Monmouth NJ

Hope to see you guys at the rallys! Ford :headbang:

What she was....
89 F250 Kenny Bell Blown 302 5.0 HO 10psi

We had just rewired the whole ecu harness to make it Sefi from bank fire and I just put the tranny back in from changing the clutch slave cylinder and all we had left was to change the rear suspension bushings and we couldn't get the old rusted bolts off so we used torch to cut 1 off. And a small plastic fire started (wrapping around wires) and then when the guy who was cutting went to blow it out it blew up in a big fireball we tried to get it out but we panicked and it spread way to fast so we had to get it off the lift and out of the shop before the shop went up and then his house next to the shop would of went up. We had $40 gallons of 93 gas in the truck thank god the tanks were topped off or the fumes would have blown. Well the fire destroyed everything on the truck not 1 thing can be used, warped the frame melted the aluminum super charger and all the aluminum off the truck. Even made the roll cage glow bright red was a sad sight... $25000 truck gone! My buddy got 3rd degree burns I suffered some smoke inhalation but we saved the garage and other cars in the garage and the house. And from 30ft away it melted the siding on his house and side of his Triton v10 when it rolled past it after coming out of the shop.

My Evo 8 And if you want to call her Rice you better be prepared to keep up with her in the mud and off road. I was on bald tires in the mud so only reason I couldn't get through it :)
