New Ford Police Interceptor

that is pretty sweet but i would like to see some kind of special police mustang GT all decked out ....something that looks really aggressive.

damn my internet here in the little radiator springs..

but i did hear its a version of the ford taurus, v6, twin turbo. AWD?

And I... Jizzed in my pants...

I would fear that car, nothing like the old vics though...

Aparently it meets double the durability requirements/specs of the Crown Vic.

Two versions will be made, the Police Interceptor: 3.5L V6 with FWD standard and AWD as an option. Then there will be a Police Pursuer: Which is basically an SHO with cop shocks and cop brakes, alongside the added bracing and such from the regular Interceptor model.

i swear i have seen that car in a movie or sumthin.....cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks..... no four hundred and forty cubic in plant though........ I bet that car has a bit of pick-up still

Except it's a Ford, so it won't throw a rod while you're hauling ass through Chicago.

in the video they say they're going to have a utility version, do i smell a flex police interceptor in the future

well this just means that mabey we can buy a stripped down sho!!! and not have to spend all out doors....because cant the public get these cars as well...but with out the cop doo dads

Well, at least these cars will have their own shape, so when some old lady drives by in her mercury version of the crown vic, we don't have to slow down :P

it seems around here more departments are going to explorers. they have better acceleration than a charger and get better mileage.

So how long do they run them before they get sold for surplus? :icon_bounceblue:
