Heres a good example of the crown vic.'s durability. Imagine walking away from this in a Hyundai.....

Wow, a Ranger did all that damage.![]()
Not one person shitting on the unibody idea now huh? This is a mess of a cop car. It's not going to catch anything any better than the current patrol cars.
Never said it was weak, just that I prefer BOF, that's all. Also, Ive seen crashes where unibody vehicles twisted like pretzels with the driver being crushed to bits, so like a cage.....no.
Werent Xj's built kind of like Aerostars and land rover LR3's with both a ladder frame and unit body construction? Correct me If i'm wrong, but I could swear my old XJ had frame rails.
Who will win in a race????

the car in the top pic is the madd max police intercepter crusier
Around here cop cars get run about 100,000 miles. In the South and West probably more because the roads are better and they won't rust as much.So how long do they run them before they get sold for surplus?![]()
that is a perfect example of using a vehicle beyond it's purpose. A Camry is not a tow vehicle intended for regular use.
As far as the Ridgeline comment, you don't have to like the truck (Even though it is good for it's intended audience) but your homophobic comment was uncalled for and frankly ignorant.
But he is right about that Ridgeline comment. are you saying its good for its intended audience of gays and liberals?
I am saying it's right for it's audience of people who need to move household and garden type stuff but don't have a small-penis issue that requires them to buy a Super Duty to drive to Home Depot. It can do minor truck work without riding like a huge piece of shit like most regular trucks do.
