Aparently it meets double the durability requirements/specs of the Crown Vic.

Two versions will be made, the Police Interceptor: 3.5L V6 with FWD standard and AWD as an option. Then there will be a Police Pursuer: Which is basically an SHO with cop shocks and cop brakes, alongside the added bracing and such from the regular Interceptor model.

i swear i have seen that car in a movie or sumthin.....cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks..... no four hundred and forty cubic in plant though........ I bet that car has a bit of pick-up still

Except it's a Ford, so it won't throw a rod while you're hauling ass through Chicago.

Well, at least these cars will have their own shape, so when some old lady drives by in her mercury version of the crown vic, we don't have to slow down

it seems around here more departments are going to explorers. they have better acceleration than a charger and get better mileage.

I meant more in the looks department, you anything that resembles a vic, you slow down. lol
