I just recently replaced the clutch and drove it two hours and it was fine. I turned into a gas station and now I'm getting a clanking sound. It SOUNDS like the driveshaft from the transfer case to the front wheels is clanging.

It really clatters when I give it gas and at low speeds.

Could it be my new clutch that I put in? I hope not.

It's a 1994 4.0 XLT 4x4

When you replaced your clutch did you replace the master cylinder and throw out bearing? Because that sounds like the throw out bearing. Or you might have alignment issues down there, I would check it out
