of my '84. This pic just shows how I handled the fan and shroud situation. I was able to modify the stock should to work. I cut a lot of it away and mounted it totally different as its not mounted to the radiator anymore. The Explorer radiator is sitting in and under the support. My goal for this V8 conversion was for things to look as stock as possible which is one reason it took me so long. This is a manual fan, with a short spacer and clearance is perfect.
