ok, i just got done installing a 6in lift on my bll. got my alignment done, i had 235-75-r15 tires on it and it drove great every thing was good drove it for a few weeks like to make sure it was good. then just recently went 33 12.5 tires on a much wider rim bought these use of craigslist not sure of rim size but id have to guess 10 to 12in wide. so hears the prob after putting the 33's on now when i drive every time i hit a dip in the road or if the road is unlevel it tries to pull me off to the side that the dip is on, what could cause this? its got me stump put the 235's back on and have no probs with could the 33's be on too wide of a rim? let me know what you think any help woud be great.

Your alignment changes with the wider wheels. If you want to run them, get the vehicle realigned with them installed.

It should not change so much to be "pulling off the side on dips", that sounds much more like bumpsteer from a geometry issue with the steering linkage (it being out of phase with the axle).

I assume you probably used the drop pitman arm provided in the kit and not a Skyjacker #FA600 drop arm?

also check the offset of the new wheels.if the mounting surface of the wheels is toward the inside, rather than centered it can cause this.

yah I used the pitman arm that came with the lift, the lift is not new i got it for my brother after his ranger died I took it off be for he scraped it. and i don't remenbering him have any problems with the steering on his, the only differance i can think of between the two vehicals is he had the dana 28 up front and I put in the dana 35 when I swap 2x to 4x. would that make any differance? like I said truck drives fine with smaller tires, and your right it does feel like bump steer. thanks all for the advice. i'll take some measurments of the pitman arm and see what ones on there
