I need to replace the connector wire for the temperature sensor which is located on air intake
tube that is connected from the air filter case to the throttle body. The wire with the plastic
connector has somehow came disconnected and came in contact with the engine running hot and got melted. For now I connected (green and white wires ) to the temperature senor
temporary. I am not sure if I had described the parts correctly. I search online and fordparts.com which carries the motorcraft parts, without positive results. Need help in correctly identifying the correct part and where to purchase online. Thanks.

You may have better luck looking at your local bone yards normally a minimum charge would apply, look for anything else you may need!

Or you can get a brand new one from Rockauto, kinda steep though.

Sorry I took too long to post, I took tinman suggestion to order my part from rockauto. Just for references the air charge temperture sensor connector part number is motorcraft WPT 322. Since I would be replacing this part I also decided to replace the air charge temperture sensor part number motorcraft DY735 also from rock auto, all for $80. The only thing am not so happy about this order is that it took to long to arrived (order on Nov 24 received Dec 6).
Now my question is, are the wires colored coded, like grey/red on one and the other is black.
the new part is both wires are black. I would just like to make sure about the correct connections, could not determine on the original because it has a protective covering that needs to be cut open. Any advice thanks.
