Need a top plate

1993 XL 3.0 OHV
Leaf spring broke and connectors are in rough condition. O'Reilly has nearly everything except the axle u bolt top plate. Anyone know where I can pick one up?

I moved this to the 2wd suspension forum.

Try a local spring shop. Springs will likely be better from there then the dormans you will get for the big box store also.

Just to prevent putting things in the wing place, can I know why? Called a couple spring shops in my area and they didn't carry the plates, unfortunately. Said it'd be a dealer part and the dealers I called Said it's not something they have.

It's just the quality of the big box store parts in general has really slipped over the years. Most of it is cheap Chinese junk... many good American companies have sold out to the cheapest bidder.

I'll look around and see if I have any. Seems that I might have a pair laying around. Do you need U-bolts, also?

Oh, need to ask which axle? 7.5" or 8.8"? If I have any laying around, they'll be from my original 7 5" axle.

Just looked. I must have already sold those plates. Still have u-bolts, including a brand new set from Skyjacker (No nuts). Also have leaf springs (kind of awkward to ship) and rear leaf shackles.
