need a little advice..dual cases doubler set up

Yes you can. You will just have to fab up shifters. I am running two manual cases and no problems.

Thanks for the reply man. Another thing I wanna make sure of, both my cases can be 1350? Right? And the housing of the cases have all the same bolt patterns and what not? Haha what is the difference in 1350 and 1354? Thanks again for the help.

Keep us posted on the doubler i might follow your build if you go threw with it.

Haha also what model tranny do you cut the output shaft off? Sorry for all the questions i only wanna do yhis once in little time and little money

I'll make a thread. I'm doing it for sure within the next month. No one can stop me haha

Any combination of two 1350 or 1354 cases can be used to make a doubler, however making the range or doubler box itself from a 1350 is somewhat easier than with a 1354 (plus you wouldn't want to cut up a rare manual-shift 1354 and the electric 1354 takes a lot more creativity to use one as the doubler box).

I have manual-everything on mine also. I built my shifters so that the rear (main) t-case works as if stock, the doubler unit itself has a pull up (hi) / push down (lo) knob.

Best pic I have of the shifter linkage at the moment (click for bigger):

Any non-V8 4x4 RBV tranny can be used for an output shaft (V8 Explorers I don't know the spline count on them off hand).
