Sat for 5-6 years and I’m trying to get it running again. Ran perfect when parked. Only parked because it needed brakes and I had several cars and didn’t want to put the money in it at that point.
I couldn’t get it started other than with starting fluid. I wasn’t getting power to the fuel pump at first, so I changed both the fuel pump relay and the EEC relay. Fixed all loose grounds and finally got power to the pump but the pump Wasn’t working. Replaced the pump and the fuel filter and now it has fuel flow, which I verified by pulling the return line off of the fuel rail and bumping the key. Truck still won’t start. I pulled the plugs and they have no fuel smell or wetness to them. I did check the injectors with a test light and turning the key and it is something signal to the injectors. So my thought would be injectors and fuel pressure regulator next?
Any help would be greatly appreciated on this one
