Ok, thought you meant higher gear number, giving you a lower overall gearing. Whats it turning at like 55 and 65 now?
55 mph = 2000 RPM
65 is about 2200 RPM I think...
90 MPH = 3100 RPM
And it's like it has power in reserve.. To me pulling a mountain at 25 mph in OD is pretty darn impressive for a 6 cyl... The 04 Mustang GT I had was horrible in the mountains with the 5 speed.. It had no power or too much power.. didn't seem to have a happy spot. With the Ranger 4th or OD is great in the mountains.. it's so good I think I can do ok with higher gears... I could see going with a 3:73 or lower for racing but I'd like the perfect gear for road trips and cruising...
