it has a 351 M i believe, 4 on the floor and its just soo badass, i already named it, "The Beast", as it simply discribes it to a Tee. thanks :yahoo: :headbang:

sorry for the dbl pic, but that rear bumer is about a 10 inch or so homemade drop bumber outta about 1/4 - 3/8th stainless steal. i feel sorry if i get rearended for the person who hit me, and the top of the hood comes up to my chin and im about 5'10"

my friend has a '78 i believe. Has the 460 in it and has a 6" lift i believe with 35's. Sick truck. Wish i had one haha.

looks to me as if it has lift blocks in the front which is a BIG NO NO unless there welded to the axle, but even then its not the way to lift it.

best way to lift a truck with all leaf suspension is to replace with rearched springs or new lifted springs, there much safer & also help to eliminate wheel hop

My dad has a 1972 F250 Ranger with a 351 and a 4spd and the thing howled on the highway it was geared so low.... would go thru damn near anything - and did - but it just wasn't economical for a daily driver. I don't recall what gearing it had, I just remember thinking how cool it was that the ignition was in the dash and how it was damn near empty under the hood since it had no PS, no AC, and no power brakes, and four wheel drums. Only problem was the rust was so bad on it it looked as if the cab and box were collapsing towards eachother - and I'm sure the weight of the fuel tank in the back of the cab didn't help, but I thought it was the coolest truck when I was a kid and still love the old 1970's Fords...

nice truck, front blocks not good sam i am, springs are cheap for it, look it up you should be able to properly lift that truck about 6" all spring on the cheap

That is an awesome truck:icon_thumby:
