see, i have the whole donor rig that my motor and trans and crap came from. so...

i have the d35 already. actually sold the d30 for more than i bought it for. lol. sold the axles a slight bit cheaper. so i didn't lose anything. only money i'm out right now are the coils i bought from you. but they'll sell, i just gotta get the word out for them.

but like i said, i can do the d35 swap for so much cheaper... and that sounds good for me! lol

Well we've got rangers and explorers on the lot so I was hoping and praying lol. I don't think first gen EX's came with 4.10s honestly. But I figured what the heck. I'd try anyways. Had to get some other stuff. Got a almost new looking y-pipe for the chevy for $6.87 lol.

i just looked real quick at the parts store here 93-97 ranger 4.10s for the dana 35 are $405 yet ther 4.56s are $238.


seems kinda strange.. its almost the same cost to go all the way to 4.56s front AND rear, rather then just the 4.10s in the front

I would stick with the 4.10 unless you are not going to see much highway use, then 4.56 would be better. Mine with the 4.56 and 35's on the highway at 70mph was turning 3000rpm in 5th gear. A little to high for my liking.

I like the 3.73's with the 30's. I don't think id be satisfied with the same gears and larger tires.
