My Bronco 2

gonna run the super runner as is for now. since i can just bolt it up and run it. save some time. might mod it later. i'm sure that when it needs the tre's replaced on the non-replaceable ones, i'll address that issue! lol. b/c i can address it for cheaper than what the long things cost and junk.

i'm not even gonna modify it to drop the tie rods down yet, unless i need to... i'm sure i will, but i'm hoping for the best! lol. hopefully i can run it as is and not have bumpsteer at all.

talking to the guy that built my bumper, about the ext radius arms.. took some pics for him, to see what any advice he will give me... so might as well load them up here, i'll be using the d28 ra's (i think they will work right? lol) b/c of the shock retainer is more than just a stud. if not, i'll just use this shock retainer on the d35 arms. idk.

i've gotta eventually get all the oil cleaned off. MOST of the leaks are fixed, not all.. dang cork gaskets... and my steering gear box pees oil all the time..

Mine pee's oil everywhere. Valve covers and rear main seal. Steering not leaking yet. Transmission shift rail plugs leak like crazy and t-case seals leak.

me either... and i want the axle swaps first! lol.

i just started a thread over on overrockoffroad.com called "ttb, twin traction beam, really???" lol. gonna do a mini build thread on my axle swaps over there since they are all solid axle people... most of them are completely scared of ttb, some of them probably don't even know what it is! lol.

and of course, the first post was why not a narrowed d44 sas. lol

Your right, you have to be brave to keep TTB under your truck.

Why? The 35 will do anything you do with your truck.

Its just to much work to maintain a TTB axle for offroading use IMO. Not saying that people shouldnt do it. But since I mud, it acts as a plow and doesnt have a good of ground clearance for it either.

My problem with the ttb was keeping it aligned and not able to keep the d28 from grenadeing.
Plus I wanted something different.

well something different for me is the ttb. lol b/c everyone has solid axles in MSJ.
and the d35 shouldn't be compared to the d28 for strength..

keeping it aligned, i aint had a problem w/ mine other than my steering angles are off, the tie rods aint straight, the are picked up by the pitman which causes problems. but if w/ the right pitman or the right steering system, that is fixed also.

ttb just takes a little knowledge. i've done my share of research. i'm gonna see if the research pays of, b/c i've got A LOT less invested in the ttb swap so far than i would in the sas.

When I blew up the d28, I had the option of buying a 35 from a junk yard for $150 or just use the 30 that has been sitting in my parents shed for 8 years.
