Turns out the Edge Grill I that I pulled isn't an exact fit. It's different across the top. I thought I pulled it off an 04. My truck is an 01 with an 03 replacement grill. I don't remember what the original looked like, but thought the 03 was exactly the same except for the insert. The honeycomb one I got seems to replace the top part that screws to the header. Are they all like that and I never noticed or was it a subtle change between 03 & 04?

So it turns out that they are all like this. But I think with some zip ties and a lil' ingenuity on my part and I can make something work. I took pictures and will probably to a thread about it in the "exterior" section...eventually.
