My 91 Ranger the stRanger

damn that would be nice, looking good man...
It definitely has its pros and cons. The lifts are a huge pro lol, I can't imagine doing a lift kit with out a frame lift.

Rear lift is finished, its leveled out perfectly and looks great! Front driveshaft is hooked up too! pics later!

You ended up just doing a mixed leaf pack with explorer leaves right? Best of all still no stupid blocks :headbang:

Its a ranger, exploder, add a leaf bastard pack. And no blocks. I tried taking pictures but it was just to dark outside and didn't do all my hard work justice lol. Tomorrow for sure some nice daylight pics.

I just need to try and get it into the alignment shop in the next couple days and it will be ready for a shakedown run.

I really wish it wasn't christmas time becauseI am drooling for new wheels and tires

You decide what tires yet? I remember you were talking 33x10.50 KM2s.

Thats what I am planning for. I know I will hate DD on LTBs and I would like some of the new goodyears but they only come in 12.50 flavor for the diameter I want.

Really the LTBs aren't bad, just the flat spots when cold and they wear fast. You may consider a 12.50 if you plan on snow, my 10.50s have about zero flotation so I'm limited to about 2 1/2 feet of snow...

Im planning on having a different DD this spring so I may say **** it and spring for the ltbs... IDK yet. They are pretty much the same price...

Heres a couple quick pics I snapped. Last night I thought the shocks were about perfect length but it seems the rear settled a bit and I might spring for the 10'' bilsteins instead of these 11''.

Awesome, it's gonna be sweet with proper meats under it. Yeah be careful you don't bottom out those shocks since you've got no bumpstops.

Yeah after my christmas shopping is over I will be getting some shorter ones, I kinda just made an educated guess with the 11'' travel length.

Oh and my truck is sitting in the alignment shop waiting to get aligned tomorrow. I have a feeling they won't be able to align it though... shit always happens

Most stops are TTB-retarded. Just get the bushings and do it yourself, you can eyeball the camber very close and use a tape measure to set the toe.

Yeah this shop was recommended to me by a couple 4x4 shops in the area. Hopefully things go smoothly but I am fully prepared to tell them to eff off and do it myself off if they try some shenanigans

Well they got it all aligned with no problems, I was surprised. Been doing some tire research from 4wheelparts.
SS LTB 34x10.50: $836
BFG km2 33x10.50: $740
BFG KM2 33X12.50: $836
Wrangler MTRS: $800

If I go to 12.50 I will need to figure out my wheel backspacing because on my ranger rims with 10.50 wide tires I rub on the rad. arm at almost full lock. So with a wider tire/wheel combo I need to figure out what I need. I think a wheel with 3'' backspacing might be good.
