My 91 Ranger the stRanger

Awesome!

Any rubbage?

Not sure how much PSI you're running, mine like around 20, more than that and they wear in the center.

Some slight rubbing on the front, I need to trip the part on my front bumper that wraps around and the aft side of both front and rear wheel wells, the rear seemed to rub the most because it has the most flex.

I aired them up to 35psi IDK about running them at 20 DD lol.

They are definetly loud and vibe a lot, at least compared to my all terrains

I'm tellin' ya dude, they aren't gonna like that much PSI, they're stiff tires. I had mine at 25 for a while and they still wore a little more in the center so I've dropped them down to around 20-22.

I was told to run my TSL bias at 20-22, I think 35 is way to much.

And get those fenders trimmed before you cut the shit out of them like I did!

I wish I would have paid more attention when doing your bumper, the way the wrap arounds tip down bugs the shit out of me.

I think Im going to try around 25 psi.

Yeah I might get around to trimming them this weekend, hopefully I don't fawk up lol.

And the wrap arounds don't bug me much, I bent the passenger side one more when I hit a tree wheeling, so I'm not to concerned about it. I am going to rebuild it for a winch and a bit more protection on the front and sides when I move off base and can buy a welder soon.:icon_welder:

I haven't decided how to trim the fenders. I know I don't need to cut much away but I am worried it will look weird if I just widen the wheel wells instead of doing a full crescent of a cut. And from I have read I don't cut it on the line I want the new fender to be at, but less than that, then fold the edge up how far i want it?

This is what I was thinking of cutting

Mine looks fine with just the wheel wells widened. I only had to do the back of the front fenders and just the front bottom corner of the rear wheel wells since my wheels don't stick out as far as yours. And you sure they rub at the front of the front fenders?

You can sorta see what I trimmed in this pic, this side didn't turn out as nice as the driver's side but you get the idea. Cut and fold.

Im pretty sure it may have just rubbed on the passenger side front bumper extension since its bent more from the tree.

Well I put on my 9'' travel shocks today and they are pretty mush exactly what I was looking for. Im thinking about keeping the 11'' travel if I manage to do shock hoops or a tube bed this summer. Unless someone really want to buy them I will prolly keep them around...

I still have not trimmed my fenders, hopefully this weekend then maybe I can go wheeling next week. Only things left to button up are the fenders, driver brake line and coil retainers.

really commin along.....:icon_thumby:

can't wait to see some wheelin' pics......

AR got a few inches of snow so I went and drove around a while. Couple trails I found too by the lake, no pics of actual wheeling though :( Takes a little to get used to driving locked front and rear in the snow.

one trick to help in snow and ice with a front locker is to only lock the driver side hub in.....

looks good in the snow too :icon_thumby::icon_thumby:
