My 91 Ranger the stRanger

SWEET!! that looks killer man! keep it up =D

Awesome dude! Nice prerunner stance :headbang: Wish I was able to see it in person and see WTF is going on with the brake lines...

Make sure your alignment is legit before you tear up your front tires too. Also get some coil retainers so you don't pop the coil out when you go wheelin. You get the pitman arm swapped too?

Yeah I should be getting an alignment thurs. or fri. providing I finish the rear and get the driveshaft hooked up. When I get it aligned will they straighten my steering wheel and stuff as well? And yes I did get the drop pitman arm on, It was harder to get on then take the old one off lol.

If you look at the first picture in my last post you can see the t fitting I tried to use, with the second brakeline coming from the top of the coil bucket.

What do you think I should use for a coil retainer? Im pretty nervous about the stock length brakeline on the driver side, even though at full droop on the lift it was fine.

Oh and I put on my new warn jeep hubs, definitely beefier than my other warns, but now I have spare hubs and shafts now woot!

thanks buddy, sorry I didn't get your call yesterday either I was working on the truck. 2 days of working ten hours straight to get it done, no food or breaks either lol. I was beat.

I would defiantly recommend coil retainers, even if it is just something as simple as beefy hose clamps

I went to pick an pull today to see if I could solve my u joint strap issue. Went to 3 different exploders and none of them have this larger size of bolts I need. I think I might just try and drill out the holes and get some u bolts

also how would a hose clamp hold my coils in?

A lot of guys use hose clamps and they work.

Find a local hose/hydraulic shop and see if they can figure out what you need for your brake line.

I was thinking of a j hook type thing. Are you talking about like a u bolt hose clamp?

i usually make some from strap or take a set off a j/y f series.

I got the bolts I needed for the driveshaft and some hose clamps for coil retainers today at lowes. I will put that stuff on tomorrow after work in the auto shop. The rear lift should be getting done tomorrow and I should have 4x4 again lol.

The hobby shop is closing 2 hours early today so I have to wait to do the rear leafs until tomorrow. :(

What is the hobby shop I am hearing about?

I live on a air force base in the barracks. I don't have a garage or anything like that so the base has an auto hobby shop with several lifts and pretty much any tool you will ever need. I pay $5 an hour for a lift and tools and that is where I do all the work on my truck.

All the pics with my truck on the lift is in the hobby shop.

damn that would be nice, looking good man...
