My 91 Ranger the stRanger

Lookin good.

I guess its to late now but I have a stock 90 gauge cluster from my 90 B2 that I swapped in a factory v8 tach when I did my 5.0 swap years ago. I was going for a factory look.

Thanks, but yeah definitely to late now. I wanted accurate gauges with numbers anyway. And my speedo is pretty sweet, more info when I get my stuff

Isnt there a pin on the 90 model for a v8 to run the factory tach? Ive heard there was because the explorers had v8s and they use the same harness. I dont know for a fact though, just curious if I heard wrong

They never offered the V8 in the Gen I Expo.

On my 91 cluster there is a v8 pin

I need to research it so I can use my factory tack

I never seen that option on the cluster that was in my 90 Bronco2 so thats why I swapped in a tach from a 90 v8 Bronco.Looks factory still.

If somebody can use it I will let it go cheap.

Sorry it took awhile but here is how my battery is mounted in the back. I put here so I still have room for a B and C pillar when I cage the inside.

Well I got most of the center console built. I still need to make the folding armrest and plate the top of the forward portion (waiting for triple sticks to show up) Its made from 1/2 square tube and some sheet metal. Initially I started riveting the panels on but busted my rivet gun and said **** it, so I just started welding.

Then I got to work on my headers. The passenger side is way harder because the frame rail is right under the head it seems, so I started on that side and almost got it finished tacked together.

That's good to hear! I can't wait to try it out. You are the first I've heard from that's used one before.

Yours may or may not be the same, but when I did the swap on the blue jeep I used autometer gauges, and the gps module for the speedo. I noticed you have to sit for about 10 to 15 seconds after you start the truck for the speedo to start reading. Those gauges have an older era look to them, kind of matches the rest of the truck. Looks good...
