I have 17x8 wheels with 4.5 bs and a 12.50 tire. I have the steering stopped right before the tie rod hits the diff cover, and with the duff arms and my wheels I have just a hair of clearance on the aft shock. Is the bend in the arms needed for tire clearance or would the arms have been fine if they were straight?
Yeah 750.00 aint cheap! lol
I would say yes, the bend is required for best turning radius and clearance. Ask josh4061 about that too because he built custom arms with the bend. The duff arms also have I think 4 degrees of caster which is nice. I have the stock c cap bushings and the pinion lines up real nice.
