Murphy, the one ton B2 build

Yup, rear is done besides shocks. I want a doubler, but that won't be for a while. I do have the parts to build one, but with me, I'l probably pick up a v8 and start swapping that lol.

lmao.

Hows the booger? I miss seeing pics of that truck

It's good, patiently waiting it turn lol

I haven't used it much lately, I need to change that.

When you gonna bring that beast down to Harlan or Ivy Branch and play on the big rocks?

I'd like to go this year but it seems like I'm busy every weekend already. I'm ready to beat it down.

Let me know when you do decide to make the trip down

Will do bud....one of these days we will wheel together lol

Had some time into the b2 over the last couple of days, its on its own weight now. I also got the new to me core support welded in and the new front clip mocked up....lookin cool

Looks good so far. Any reason why you didn't push the front axle forward anymore than where its at? Did you push it any?

SVT

It's forward about 4". If I go anymore the steering box will have to be moved.

I went 4" in the rear also.

Steering done minus tie rod/pitman clearance at the frame. Gotta find a different pitman ARM with more drop but less than the factory...about .5 to .750 drop maybe? The one on there now is flat.

Driveshafts done, brakes all ran, next is exhaust, linkages, body clearing, sliders, bumpers, paint....no particular order...

Pic as it sits now

Looks good. Is it me, or does the back look slightly lower than the front? Any plans to lift the rear?

SVT

Once I get everything bolted up I will roll it out and look. To me it looks pretty level right now.

I did drive it once out into the driveway, but I decided to just take my time and work on it as I feel like it.

I did make my y pipe today

Got a long way to go yet, but it runs and stops now, I could wheel it if I wanted to.
