looking forward to seeing what you come up with.it was great meeting you guys.

and remember how i was saying that the ferry could be delayed due to weather?on the return trip it took 10 hours longer to make the crossing.we loaded at 10pm sunday, but didn't arrive in skidegate till 2pm monday.

by the time we hit land i'd been puked on by kids and had to deal with three dogs shut in the truck for 16 hours.it was good to get back home.

It really was Tom:icon_thumby:

the trip back sounds rough buddy, real rough.

So quick project update, my camera has wandered off so no new pics and I can't take off the trip ones. I'm sure it will turn up somewhere.

I mounted my toolbox in the bed of my truck today at lunch, really made a lot more room in the cab kicking all that crap outside. We'll see how water resistant it is, the lid overlaps well and seems to have nice enough seals on it. I had to reposition my spare so its all kicked out at an angle, I really need one of those bed mount spare tire carriers, or a tiregate. I also did the throttle cable mod, huge difference in throttle response. still trying to figure out my idle issue, pulled off the vacuum line to my FPR and it seems there is some fuel in it. I think the FPR may be shot. I'm going to replace it and see if that does anything. Other than that I'm tired of fighting with it for the last year so I have an appointment to get it in the shop on June 1st if I don't solve it before that. This high idle is killing fuel mileage, and I figure the money I'll save on fuel and engine wear will more than cover the shop time, especially at my price.

holy cow,man.where ya been?

it's like you dropped off the face of the net there for a bit.
and yes,gas in the fpr line is not a good sign.

Stepped away from the laptop there for a while. Summer time has hit and I've got a lot going on. I'm sure you can appreciate that Tom:D The truck is all nice an muddy right now, hit up some trails recently and it's being one hell of a performer:headbang:

oh,as you know i can appeciate it big-time:headbang:

i just hooked the boat up,i'm going hunting for that elusive salmon right now.
got some new lures and flashers given to me from one of the lodge guides,as well as some good(i hope)advice on getting them to bite.

hopefully i'll be having salmon for dinner:icon_thumby:

So today I got and mounted a couple Blazer GloFX driving lights to my bumper. The wiring on the lights matched the factory foglight wiring so it was a nice, simple plug and play ordeal. I found my camera so I'll take some pics of everything that has been done to the truck recently and upload the last of the trip pics this week:icon_thumby:

Alright so it looks like I'm 3 votes behind with 2 days left. time for a BIG, PICTURE, UPDATE! :headbang:

Here are the Blazer GloFX driving lights I mounted up to my valence. they clipped right in to the factory fog light wiring. The cool part is that after you use them for a while and turn them of, the outside part glow green:D I know it's a little but ricey bit the lights themselves are super bright. And multi, someone put the Earnhardt plate on my truck when I was at work, the good one is still there.

Here is my Clarion head unit, makes some nice tunes with the Kenwood eXcelon series speakers.

Matching LED dome lights:icon_twisted:

I also picked up some seat covers to help make the interior look better. I think they made a huge difference. Plus I don't feel as bad driving people around now.

At some point while out wheeling I busted one of my sway bar pins, the truck handled fine without it but with it it feels like a Ferrari:icon_rofl: Needless to say, I bought spares.

Throttle cable mod. Do it, now.
IMG_0900.jpg

Got my Delta toolbox in the bed, clever eyes will notice the bike lock attaching it to the rollbar:D

Better shot of my RANGER MILITIA decal, I need to get a new ".com" made.
