37" Delta aluminum chest, perfect size to fit in between the risers of my hoop. And the price could not be beaten this week, cheaper than I could get one through work. Be nice to get the Rubbermaid tote full of engine stuff into the shop, and my recovery stuff out of the cab.

That isnt a bad price at all, I'd almost pic one up myself to throw in the b2

nice box ya got :icon_thumby::icon_thumby:

if I ever needed to replace my "over the rail" toolbox....that is what I would get.....

And btw, your pics inspired me enough last night, that today I fixed the transfer case in the b2 today and took her through a couple feet of snow. I did get stuck a couple times though due to the shitty tires, but once I get the lift and 33s on she will be a mean machine lol

New dash vent installed and after much fighting I got the Kenwood deck in finally. You guys should have seen the fun time I had. To begin with you all saw the wire I had hanging out of the dashboard, half aftermarket and half OEM. Then the deck Andres gave me was was installed in a vehicle in a similar fashion, but at least these wires made sense. Then after I get knee deep in the dash I see that there is already some RCA cable s and stereo wire. I follow the wires and see they go into the passenger kick panel. I popped of the kick panel and i see this little bitty amp. So right now I have the RCAs going into this amp but it isn't fused up at the moment. My plan is to run a splitter off those RCAs, use the stereo wiring that i there to power some speakers in my console I'm building and run the other set of split RCAs to another amp that will just run my sub. Next thing I did was pull off my rear speaker covers to see... no rear speakers. Luckily we had a nice set of Kenwoods in stock. So I bolt the new Kenwoods in the back and start thinking I should check if I even have front speakers. I removed the door panel and see an older Kenwood underneath, which I decided to keep in there. Turns out now after using them a bit they may be a little blown, good thing we have another set of the speakers I put in the back in stock:D

So right now I would consider myself done stage one of the stereo install, next stage will be the temporary box with my sub and amp. Then stage 3 will involve me building that center console and adding the center front speakers. Since they will be amp driven I think I will use the set of x9 Sony Xplods i have kicking around. I know they work and I know they work awesome. So stay tuned for next weekends wiring fun-time.

And that toggle switch is for my "play and charge" iPod integration device. So far though the truck sounds pretty good.

I am sure ya like havein' tunes again :icon_thumby::icon_thumby:

make sure ya post up plenty of pics of the new sub box and console.....

I really like having music again, like Gerry said on Saturday when I was a sreamin' demon trying to get this done, "You really don't want to listen to your own thoughts anymore, do ya?":icon_twisted:

I'll take some pics for stage2 but i can't wait until stage3 when the real fun begins. I picked up the RCA splitters today so next weekend should be a good one:headbang:
