Okay I built this truck when I was 15. Its an 87 and I lowered it 4/7. Shaved everything. I sold it to this guy for 1500 cause it wouldn't apss safety with the frame notch. Now he put a built 302 (290 hp....315 tq) and he is selling it for 900. I sold it to him with a tired 2.9.

I WANT IT BACK!!!! My plans for it would be put the 302 in my white 86 and then put a 2.9 back in the black one and use it as my DD. but I don't know. Money is no issue. Just space.

BTW thought I should add. The body is NOT as straight as it looks in the pics. The box needs a lot of work around the wheels and the shaved handles are starting to get a little wavy after 3 years.

I would have just took it to random places. ONE of them would have overlooked the notch.

I took it to 2 places there was other stuff wrong too at the time of safety. It needed basically all the stuff he listed it needs. LOL I'm pretty sure the only thing he did to it was the motor and trans. I called him and he told me he'd think about giving me the beams and flip kit for 200 or the whole truck minus the doors and fuel cell (I don't why he wants the doors) for 700. Hopefully he'll go for the 700. I'd just part it out (motor, trans, hood, suspension, interior, other random parts) and junk it for 50 bucks. But my 86 is saftied so I can do whatever I want to it.

well for anyone who cares I bought it back. So the plans are beams and flip kit for my white 86...the 87 has a 8.8 so I'm takin that. The interior I'm taking out the 302 and trnas I'm taking out and putting in my white one. He was pissed about people offering him nothing for the parts off it...so he basically gave it to me for 700 cash. I'd say I got a sick deal.
