I need help. I am working on a 1999 3.0L Ranger that has a power rack. I am swapping in a stroked 347 for a drag truck only. I want to install a manual rack and pinion. What options do I have to do this? Is a Mustang rack an option?
Thanks

Pinto or mustang 2 manual rack could probably be custom fit with some fabrication but nothing is just going to bolt in.

I've seen Mustang drag cars with the power rack still in place with the hoses connected together. The small amount of fluid in the rack will probably keep it alive for quite a while drag racing. If your track tech folks accept it.
