Lotus

Just wondering if it would be bad if I out bid you for it. I have been wanting one for a while. Just wish it had a diff. power mill.

Hey I was just looking at CL here in PHX and found this one for abit more but it only has 6900 mile on it. Not sure what these are going for but here is a look for you. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/cph/ctd/1819770094.html

I'll run the tires till they need changed, at that point i'll likely put a set of Yokohama's on her.

If you want to outbid me, by all means, outbid me. whats so wrong with the yota mill?

Can't knock it till you try it. Once you try it you won't knock it.

I am 6ft and also fit with no trouble at all. I'll have to ask him where he gets parts. I know he chews brakes because of trackdays, not so much the weight.

From what I hear, they can be a little hard to get into but are comfortable once you are in.

.

I have never seen one up close till i looked at those pictures. Really sharp car. Good luck bidding.

The yota mill is great, as well as the corolla its in the celica GTS It has the same VVTL-i (variable valve timing lift and injection system) However totally different specs than the production cars, very reliable. I think you will be happy with it. But someone mentioned brake parts, it requires the carbon composite brake pads Ibelieve and vented slotted rotors are what is comes with. Its all high wear stuff but designed to perform. If you are easy on it then it should last a little longer.

Actually it's just VVT-i. Variable Valve Timing with Intelligence.

Finally met the reserve (after it was lowered to $23,000) and I've still got it at 24k. now I'm debating with myself over how high I'm willing to go.

What ever happened to that diesel ranger?

The lotus has a vvt-i? Thats sux, I know for a fact the celica GTS has the vvtl-i because i used to drive one. I dont know why they wouldnt put it on the lotus. Unless its just that particular model without it?

Ryan - Still want the diesel ranger

Frog - its got the lift intelligence

I was about to asume my truck would become mule if you bought the lotus, lol.

Lift tech? Like variable valve timing? Is it hydraulic or electric?

Ryan - yes, she's DOHC with variable valve timing, the lift intelligence is made possible by 2 lobes per valve set (both intake valves on each cylinder are operated by one lobe), a low lift lobe and a a high lift lobe. Its electronically controlled and hydraulically actuated. lots of very tiny moving parts :(

on another note, i won! :)
