Lots of 4x4 issues please help

Ok so i have seen a couple of my questions on here already but here is my issue. I bought a 95 ford ranger 4.0 4x4 about a year ago. When I first got it I took it out to test the 4x4. The transfer case locked into 4x4 fine however when I hit some snow my rear end dug itself a hole. I heard some clicking from the front hubs so I figured that was the problem sound right to any one? Plan on doing the manual hub swap.

Then I was on my lunch at work messing around with the 4x4 and the t case got stuck in 4lo and I had to have the truck towed back home. Finally got it out of 4lo by unpluging the module behind the cd player.

Now my issue is that when I try and put it into 4x4 I hear clicking from the module. Then my 4hi and 4lo lights start flashing 6 times every couple min. All fuses are good and I cant figure out what is causing this. Someone please help.

well transfer case is fixed... no more flashing lights... just pulled the plugs on the transfer case and cleaned them and now it shifts in and out perfectly.
