Well i went on my first good wheeling trip since i got the b2...i disco'd the sway bar and about 30 minuted into the trail i hung the front tire about a foot off the ground, and when i come back down my spring came out. At first we thought it was a hub cuz it made some clicking sounds, but after we fixed it we were good to go. we had to fix it in the dark, with a flashlight that kept crappin out on us. luckily i have a big buddy and he was able to stick a pole we found between the frame and drivers ttb beam and lift up so i could put the coil back in. anyways what are u guys doing for coil retainers? yall using one bolt or 2 bolts spread out? any body got anypics? im tryin to make some real quick so i can hit the trails again

Try a hose clamp or two, seemed to work pretty well for me.

I always had that issue with my TTB trucks, all 3 of my B2s and My Ranger when it was little. Those are fun to put back in on the trail.

Only takes one hose clamp around the top of each coil to fix it.

I used 3/16" aircraft cable and crimps at first, but you could also grab the coil retainer 'J' clips from any TTB equipped F150/Bronco. Either will work and stop you from making unneccessary night repairs.

i took a chunk of steel, bent it into an "L", and bolted it on

i got some plastic coated 1/4" cable off a dog chain and some u clamps, will that work?

i dont really want limit straps right now, because these coils aint stayin in that long, and i dont want to have to buys a longer set down the road

A simple j shaped retainer from a TTB bronco or f150 works great, stop by the u pull it junkyard one day, all you have to do is drill a hole an bolt it on an your set :icon_thumby:
