So… this is always a difficult situation because we can’t advocate things that could potentially be used to steal a vehicle…

If you have AAA or know someone who does, they used to send out a locksmith to make a key.

Get a spare or two when you get it fixed.

I just bought a tilt steering column with no keys out of the boneyard today, lol. I understand why information like that can not be available. Luckily I do know a lock smith.

I had the same problem with my old Ranger and ended up pulling the ignition cylinder and using a screwdriver to start it temporarily. Later, I replaced the whole cylinder myself, which cost way less than towing.
