yeah, I was just out getting images, decided to have some fun, but I was careful not to flip it, been hotrodding it for 4 years, almost tipped it once, scared me shitless, never got near doing that again, on purpose, I agree though =p

but I was careful not to flip it

sorry dirttracker, guys walk into my shop and buy full leathers chaps, jacket, boots, gloves, even the black leather vest etc. but refuse to buy a helmet. or when we sell an atv and the customer buys the heated grips, the windhsield, winch, skid plate. and they say.....well they say the exact same thing that ranger kip said or when a guy walks in and asks: "do you guys carry the thick bandanas that help protect your head from hitting bugs at 70mph?" and when i respond with "sorry, the only things we carry for head protection is helmets" they look at you like you're an idiot

i learned long ago
that a person that doesn't wear helmet does so because they have nothing to protect. and no amount of us telling them so is going to change that fact.
just like i would bet money that kip does not go out and buy a helmet and wears it every time he puts a leg over a machine......he just won't

Im telling your mom!

I'd be laughing cause she'd be wondering why you called haha, I put over 50 miles on the ATV last summer on the trails alone, all together, probably more like 280 miles. (120 from the track, roughly 100 from the fields and working).:D

I measured it on the odometer, the thing is old (1994), but runs like a 8 year old on sugar.:headbang:

Plus, all during the summer I wore a helmet, minus the working, I was towing vegitables to the barn and hauling loads of dirt and rock to the coalvert.

I have more hours on that thing than the previous owners, my parents, and everyone who drove it combined, I only know that cause I tripled its miles in the first 2 years we owned it.:icon_thumby:

Cool quad, but what's that white junk on the ground?

Snow and pieces of the garage, oh, and the firepit

THE ONLY REASON I DID NOT WEAR A HELMET IS CAUSE THIS WAS ON A PHOTOSHOOT FOR THE FLOODED FIELDS, I WANTED TO HAVE SOME FUN BEFORE I PUT IT AWAY!

when i used to ride before i sold my bike i would always wear a helmet when i went out but if i was just warming it up in my yard i wouldnt bother putting it on. yeah there have been times when i wasnt wearing a helmet and had a couple close calls. and i know what can happen if i slam my head on a tree even only doing 20. but i know my bike and my yard and can tell if something doesnt feel right and is about to go wrong. and after riding for about 8 years ive learned how to "fall with grace" lol but i always have it on as soon as i leave my area.

so just because he doesnt have one on in the vid doesnt mean he doesnt have one on every time. :icon_twisted:

there is no amount of excuses a person can make that builds a solid argument supporting not wearing a helmet. mostly because there is no good reason not to. but plenty of reasons of why you should

Critiziacle today arn't we? :annoyed::sad:

today? :icon_rofl:

yes i am criticizing those who choose to operate powersports vehicles sans-helmet. because doing so is like cocking a gun and looking down the barrel: best case scenario things go as planned and you live, worst case scenario...you die horribly
